El Paso County Information Technology Department offers a virtual private network (VPN) where employees can access County resources when connected to a public Wi-Fi network.

1.  After connecting your County issued laptop to your Wi-Fi, you will need to click on the Cisco AnyConnect icon, which is the application required. You can find this by either clicking on the MS Windows icon and typing “Cisco AnyConnect” or by clicking on the taskbar hidden icons and clicking on Cisco AnyConnect.

       OR

2.  Once you have opened the application, you will see the screen below.

3.  You must type in the location you wish to access, which is webvpn.epcounty.com, and then click Connect.

4.  You will be prompted to enter your username and password.

* If your email address ends with epcounty.com – use your regular username, for example, M.Urbina.

** If your email address ends with epcountytx.gov – you must enter the domain prior to your username, for example, epcountytx.gov\m.urbina.

After logging in, you can access your County Resources as you normally would when logged into the County Network onsite.
